I wro...Thank you again for shining your light, SC. I wrote briefly at AG (or VP) about a friend who said she'd "vote for Hillary just because she's a woman." This friend is one of the most impressive and inspirational people I know; a devoted wife and mother. However, her past is filled with pain from her own neglectful parents. She actually attended Falwell's school in Roanoke, VA and has a solid faith in God; she credits God with getting her through her childhood when she essentially assumed the leadership for her four younger siblings before they were driven apart into foster care and she escaped at 19 into her first brief (and quickly broken) marriage. My heart aches for her as she's struggled to come to terms with her still living mother who in her 70's is actually finally starting to live a sort of responsible life. Oddly, my friend seems to be losing her faith in God. I realize as I write this how much she needs prayer. If any of you would be so kind, please lift my friend Carol up in prayer, as I will continue to rejoice in your victories and pray for you as well. Again SD, thank you for your transparency and your witness.Ioweenienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115260514178140021.post-79206411387893162822013-05-23T17:17:49.164-05:002013-05-23T17:17:49.164-05:00This is really powerful. You can live through it... or let them eat you.

You're right, too, Carlotta. Pain and evil shapes us into vessels God can use. If you got through without being driven into the kingdom of darkness... if you suffered beyond what anyone should... if you lost innocence, love, family, faith... and were able to come back to the arms of God, you have a story to tell and there are people that need to hear it.Vidadhttp://dronesofdeath.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115260514178140021.post-82640157043020252272013-05-23T09:51:31.313-05:002013-05-23T09:51:31.313-05:00Wow. I was recently asked what I would change. And it hit me. Nothing. Nothing for HIS purposes. For my purposes, everything. For His, nothing. My damage makes me a better Wife and Mother because I have a clairty about the evil I am fighting against. It isn't something I have heard about, it is something that has wrapped its arms around me and tried to choke me to death.

Were it not for the evil I experienced I would not be as good of a Wife and Mother as I am. There is peace in that. Forgiveness in that.

I will pray for you and her. How blessed I would have been to have an honest, humble, Godly women to guide me into womenhood. I did not.

I WILL be that for others.

God Bless!Carlottanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3115260514178140021.post-9794765820445062742013-05-23T08:02:59.895-05:002013-05-23T08:02:59.895-05:00This is applicable to more than just children and ...This is applicable to more than just children and parents. This is applicable to every relationship, including a "relationship" with society.

It's not easy. I'm struggling with my programing even now.
