Go make me a sammich

Italian bread - butter insides and grill until golden brown
Mayonnaise spread on top and bottom
Diced grilled steak with melted Swiss cheese on top
Avocado mashed with one jalapeno and one clove garlic
Thin sliced tomato

*Next time I'll add a couple strips of bacon 

**Paleo - omit bread and wrap with large romaine leaf

  1. Some sweet mustard instead of mayo and you can wear a monacle while eating it.

  2. Truth is, I love avocados and RLB pretends he thinks they're disgusting. I wanted to eat some avocado for lunch yesterday but I can't eat the whole thing and hate to see it go to waste (I've yet to figure out how to preserve an avocado once I've cut it open). So I concocted this sandwich and handed it to him. He looked at it skeptically but then really enjoyed it and told me I can make it again for him sometime.

    He does like Dijon mustard though I'm not sure the flavors would blend well. But I'll be sure to dig out his monocle along with his Vivaldi CD next time. :)

    You can mash avocado with a little lemon juice and freeze it for I think 6mos. It's not the same as fresh I'm guessing, but might work for guacamole or whatever it is people do with avocados :) (I don't like avocados personally, but happened to find an article for a friend just a few days ago ;) )
